A total of eighty-four participants competed in the three-part contest which consisted of a written test, a 3G Certification Plate (SMAW) and a welding configuration from a GMAW blueprint. Judges Jeff Baldwin from Progressive Construction and Doug Johnson from Praxair evaluated each participant based on precision, instruction and skills. Awards donated by our sponsors were given to the top twelve competitors in both the BATC-enrolled and the non-enrolled categories. Congrats to all the winners!
