Interior designers are often associated with self-employment and residential design; however, there are a variety of career choices beyond these options. Other choices include: hospitality/restaurant, health care, kitchen and bath, lighting, retail layout, furniture stores, home improvement retailers, building construction companies, computer aided drafting, and furniture design.
