Automated Manufacturing & Robotics - Composites

Composite materials are all around you. Did you know? Airplanes, sports cars, boats, spas, wakeboards, snowboards, skis, bicycles, protection equipment (vests, gloves, helmets), storage tanks, etc., are all partially made from composite materials. Composites are strong, lightweight materials developed in a lab. Fibers of more than one kind are bonded together chemically. Once you get your hands on these materials, you will love it.

This specialization provides an abundance of hands-on skills to become employed in a variety of technician positions. Far from assembly-line type work, students will understand from start-to-finish the process of composite production.

Both short-term and certificate offerings available.
