When fashion student, Emilee Roberts, was given the opportunity to work for successful designer out of Connecticut, she immediately knew it was a chance of a lifetime.

In 2015, Rhone Apparel, a strong yet classic men's activewear line, hired Emilee to run their bookkeeping and finances. Since then, she has been processing their accounts receivable, tracking their inventory and reconciling bank accounts for the company as they distribute their lines to Bloomingdales and Nordstroms among other stores across the nation. One of the biggest perks is that she does it all from the comfort of her own home here in Utah.

Emilee earned her Retail Management Certificate from Bridgerland ATC while at the same time she was pursuing an Economics and Finance degree from Utah State University. Working with Rhone Apparel has given her the chance to combine both her knowledge of fashion merchandising with her finances degree to make her an undeniable asset to the company.

"Bridgerland gave me a creative outlet that I needed," Emilee says. "The knowledge of how the fashion industry works and the cycles of the design process and the marketing aspect of the certificate were all very helpful."
