Jaqson Belnap is literally living proof of Bridgerland ATC's theme, "Career in a Year". Having enrolled in the Automated Manufacturing & Robotics course on January 5, 2015, he was hired by Setpoint Engineering Systems in Ogden, one of the world's premier providers of custom automation on January 4, 2016.

Working as a controls technician for Setpoint, Jaqson puts into use the programming and design skills he has acquired during his time at Bridgerland. "It's been awesome to see how there is a direct application out in the field to what I've learned here at BATC," he reports. His SolidWorks and design training have already been put to use these few short weeks since beginning his new career.

Jaqson continues to finish up the last of his BATC training as he works and is scheduled to earn his Automated Manufacturing Advanced Certificate at the end of February.

"I would really encourage people to join a tech college because they actually get the hands on experience and it's a great foundation to get into what they're really interested in." -Jaqson Belnap
