Fifty business women from around Cache Valley met together at BATC last Tuesday for a pasta-cooking crash course presented by Culinary Arts students Marissa and Elizabeth. These two students successfully demonstrated the delicate art of preparing, setting and serving Garlicky Shrimp Pasta with Tarragon. They taught the Women In Business audience the delicate procedure for butterflying fresh jumbo shrimp, how to reach the ideal consistency when cooking a creamy white sauce and offered many tips for "perfect pasta preparation". To complement the pasta dish, a baby greens salad (topped with a spicy peppercorn dressing) and melt-in-your-mouth artisian rolls were also served. Lunch was topped off by a deliciously decadent raspberry chocolate tart.
