Seeking a therapist to work with women in non-profit residential substance abuse program in Provo, which has served Utah families since 1953. This clinician will gain experience in collaborative care with multiple organizations and systems to promote the well-being of women new in recovery, work on a team where everyone's opinion and experience is valued, and share knowledge with other therapists. This position requires managing a caseload of women in treatment at every level, including assessment, treatment planning, treatment review, crisis management, discharge planning and closure. Current trends in funding require therapists to excel in writing and communication skills, be good time managers and the ability to manage multiple complex issues in a professional and efficient manner. This position requires 16 hours of direct care per week in group and individual treatment sessions. Work hours are 24 to 32 hours per week, Monday-Friday between 8:30 a.m. and 5 p.m. Required training the second Tuesday of each month from 2 to 4 p.m. Other hours or evening work based on group volume/census/expertise of clinician. The selected candidate will have a license in good standing in Utah as an LCSW, MFT, or LCMHC; the skills to use standard computer programs and basic documentation processes; professional experience treating substance use disorders, co-occurring disorders, and trauma; a passion for working on a collaborative team to help women in recovery; the willingness to learn new methods; and ability to seek feedback for professional growth. This is a non-smoking facility. Must be at least twenty-one years old and able to pass a post-offer, pre-employment background check and drug screen.
