Are you committed to a strengths-based, solution-focused model of trauma-informed care for women in substance use disorders (SUD) and behavioral health treatment? Salt Lake treatment program for addiction disorders and behavioral health services for women and their families is actively seeking a full-time therapist on our SLC team. Primary duties include: -Walk women through every aspect of treatment including assessment, treatment planning, treatment review, crisis management, discharge planning, and closure. -Gain experience in collaborative care with multiple organizations and systems to promote the well-being of women new in recovery. -Work for an organization where everyone’s opinion and experience is valued on a dynamic team of diverse staff -Have a caseload of 10-12 women that you can work with intensively over several months at an accelerated pace since most reside in the facility with their small children, in the women’s program or in outpatient (3-5 days a week). Candidates should be open to learning new methods, sharing knowledge with other therapists, and able to seek feedback for professional growth. This position includes special training opportunities and financial increases for clinicians who are fully licensed and able to supervise! Includes benefits package with health, dental, vision, and life insurance; 30 days off per year for holidays, vacation and sick leave; 401(k) plan with dollar for dollar match up to 5%; and additional stipend for on-call work. This position is Monday through Friday from 8:30 to 5:00, with additional evening hours, based on group volume and expertise of clinician. We are looking for someone who has a license in good standing in Utah as an LCSW, MFT, or LCMHC and is willing to consider CSW, ACMHC, or AMFT licenses with experience. Candidates must be able to communicate effectively and professionally in person and in writing; are adept at utilizing standard computer programs and basic documentation processes; have experience in substance use disorders, co-occurring disorders, and trauma informed mental health care; are comfortable working with women who have experienced trauma and may be in distress; are willing do 50-60% direct care per week in group and individual treatment sessions; and, most importantly, have a passion for working on a collaborative team to help women in recovery. Must be at least twenty-one years old and able to pass a post-offer, pre-employment background check and drug screen. If in recovery, must have at least three years of clean time. Must have own reliable transportation and good driving record. This employer participates in the E-Verify program.
