Martin Door Manufacturing, a Salt Lake City-area manufacturer of garage doors, is seeking an individual to cut and cone garage door springs. Full-time hours are available and no experience is necessary. On the job training and certification are provided and advancement opportunities are available. Wages start at $10.50 per hour or more DOE. Job Duties: - Measuring and cutting garage door springs to length using a cutting torch. - Attaching metal cones to the spring using a coning machine. - Loading trucks as a dock worker. - Pulling and verifying parts per paperwork. - Working as an integral part of a team. - Other duties contingent on workload as requested. Position Requirements: We are looking for individuals who will take ownership of their position and demonstrate problem-solving skills. Applicants should possess the ability to work independently with limited direct supervision, in a team environment, and follow instructions as trained. It is also expected that the applicant who is hired will follow all safety rules and policies for their specific work area and the facility in general. English fluency is not required. Must have reliable transportation to get to work timely and must have a willingness to work overtime when needed. Must be at least 18 years old. Spanish speaker is a plus but not mandatory.
