Job Summary Responsible for performing production work in factories. Operates, tends, stops, and cleans machines. Inspects product to ensure finished product is within tolerances. Primary responsibilities • Start up and stop equipment. • Assist with production lines in factory. • Clean production area. • Setup tooling for production. • Pour materials into bins for hoppers. • Unload finished product from processing equipment. • Feed or place items onto equipment for processing. • Maintain equipment. • Carry out basic quality and testing checks. • Measure length of extruded article. • Pack finished goods to be shipped. • Place product in boxes for further processing. • Scrape waste material from machine. • Read and interpret gauges. • Record data. • Use lifting equipment and forklift to fulfill orders. • Store goods and raw materials properly in warehouse. • Take instructions from supervisors.
