Salt Lake City grinding shop is seeking a part-time individual to assist with office duties. Under the direction of the Office Manager A/R-A/P Finances persons, the office clerk will: Perform clerical and administrative duties in an office setting. Assists executive assistants and secretaries by sorting mail, filing, answering phones, greeting clients, scheduling meetings, and restocking supplies. Perform basic bookkeeping duties. Reroute calls to appropriate people. (Customer Service), Answer inquiries about company. Help organize office activities. Operate office machines, such as photocopiers and scanners, facsimile machines, voice mail systems and personal computers Retrieve files for personnel. Take and deliver messages. Perform data entry. Must be able to assist with receiving of material and supplies and Inventory stocking and counting. General Requirements: Experience: 5-1/2 years of office clerk or equivalent experience in a similar type and size business. Good attendance/professional demeanor Oral & written communication skills Positive attitude Strong work ethic Ability to perform work behind a computer for extended periods of time Works well with others Prepare timely, accurate, complete invoices & report, and complete tasks with minimal supervision Confidentiality Attention to detail, thoroughness Proper treatment of company assets Understanding of Accounting Software, and Microsoft Office SGI safety & ISO 9001 orientation Preferred: Associates or High School Diploma with some College courses preferred.
