We are one of the fastest growing asphalt companies in Utah and want you to have an exciting career as you grow with us. We have a lot of new and used equipment, so we need a rock star leader like you to help us keep it all in tip top shape, especially in our busy season. We are updating our fleet, so our emphasis is on exceptional preventative maintenance. So if playing with hydraulic systems, pneumatic equipment, and engines sounds like your idea of fun, we want to talk to you. What does a Rockstar Mechanic look like at Top Job? As a head mechanic you will: Perform PMI's on tractors, trailers, diesel powered equipment, automobiles and small engines. Perform all types of engine, brake, drivetrain, electrical, and A/C repairs. Be excellent with diagnosing, troubleshooting issues and maintaining heavy machinery. You think on your feet and like learning new things. When things change, you know how to roll with the punches. As a mechanic, you’ll need to be a solid leader: Self motivated to be productive under little supervision. Follow company's policies and applicable laws. Document repairs in fleet software and complete reports Address complaints and assist in resolving problems. Know or be willing to learn welding and fabrication

Requirements: EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE To land this gig, you need to have some Fleet and Diesel Experience and/or schooling. PHYSICAL DEMANDS As you probably guessed, some physical effort and movement will be required. You’ll need to reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. You’ll need to stand, walk, sit, climb or balance, talk, hear, taste, smell and all that good stuff. As far as lifting goes, you’ll need to be able to lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. WORK ENVIRONMENT You’ll be a part of a close-knit family environment. You’ll work in the shop and mobile. While on the job, you’ll naturally be exposed to loud noise and weather.

Salary: $15-$25/hour.

Hours/Schedule: M-F 8am- 5pm
